Hello! I made my video story about the Swedish rock band Europa, with a review of their 11 studio albums. I am a vinyl collector from the capital of Ukraine, the city of Kyiv. In total, my video review consists of 2 parts with a total duration of more than 55 minutes. Various photos of the band, stories about albums and creative activities. Both parts of my video story have English subtitles.

Hello Mr. Norum! I’m a pretty new fan, but, your guitar playing, both as a solo artist, and in Europe has really inspired me as I’m trying to start my own band in a place where rock n roll is pretty frowned upon. You’ve really inspired me and my guitar (and bass) playing, so I just wanted to say thank you.

Gracias!!!

Well, what a gig in Glasgow. Thank you John for your non stop guitar - complex and never missing a beat. What a great time Glasgow had. Thank you Europe - we raised the roof in Glasgow Concert hall for sure.

Killer DVD 📀 with great hard blues rock playing and insights forged by a lifetime of playing, writing, and touring. Inspiration too and the foundation of how to for the aspiring guitarist. Thank you John Norum!

One of my favorite guitarists - great tone and tasty melodic solos are the order of the day! From Europe to Dokken and your solo work it's all great. Hope you enjoyed your first trip downunder and hoping for a second one come the new album next year - Good luck in all you do 🙂

Hej John. Såg Lucia Rock konserten från 1982 på YT och såg att du hade en Yamaha B212? stärkare uppmickad. Minns du den? Isåfall vad tyckte du om den? Med vänlig hälsning, Claudio.

Hello John! Nice to see that you still is rocking and rolling. I have been following you and the band Europe since the mid 80’s. I also play guitar and your technique and feeling is great. After beeing to a Europe concert I feel blown away by your guitar playing. Talking about concerts I have a ticket to your show with Whitesnake at Hovet in Stockholm in June. Is this a Walk the Earth Tour show or do you have any new material / songs in the performance? I am really looking forward to see you back on the stage again. Take care John and keep on rocking!!! Best regards Roger

Hi John, I've loved most of the music you've created, but there just isn't enough ! I've always preferred your solo stuff, as it has a rockier edge and longer guitar solos. Come on John do something more for you fans, it's such a long time since your last release. How about a tribute to your old idol Gary, that would be terrific ! You're one of my favourite guitarists. Nigel in West Yorkshire, England

Hi John, you've been one of my favourite guitarists for quite some time and I prefer your solo style to Europe, it's been too long since the last album John, why is that ? The influences you have were my favourite times for rock music and you kept that alive, come on John we need some more ! I've really enjoyed the live stuff with Europe, but I would prefer to hear and see you live, ant chance of a DvD in the near future ? I noticed that some of your albums were poorly reviewed on Amazon, but the albums in question were my favourites, for example 'Worlds Away' . Hey John, come on, we all die too soon, let's have some more good old rock music from those 70s influences. A TRUE FAN. Nigel in England

Dear John, I hope that you, your family, and all the members of Europe and their respective families are in good health and are keeping safe, amid this COVID-19 pandemic. I first heard your amazing guitar playing at the age of 12, in late January 1987, on Much Music TV, a Canadian music videoclip channel, on a program called the Pepsi Power Hour. I remember seeing DEEP PURPLE's 'Bad Attitude' videoclip, followed by EUROPE's 'The Final Countdown' clip, and my jaw dropped when I heard Mr. NORUM's amazing and beautiful guitar solo (still my all-time favourite guitar solo) on TFC. I knew right away that EUROPE was one of my favourite rock groups ever. EUROPE's level of musicianship and its heavy 'Euro-Metal', melodic sound, distinguished it from a pack of generic rock groups. I asked my mom if she could buy me a copy of 'The Final Countdown' on audio-cassette, and the next time we went to the shopping mall record store, my wish came through, and I finally could listen constantly to EUROPE's music and to your amazing and well-thought melodic guitar solos and guitar fills. As EUROPE only ever played (1) Canadian date on Sunday, in Toronto, Ontario, in 2005. I couldn't attend because the concert took place on Mother's Day (in Canada) and almost 900 km separate Quebec City and Toronto, i.e., a 9-hour drive. After 27 years of having discovered EUROPE and Mr. NORUM's amazing musicianship, my dream finally came through. I never had the chance to see EUROPE or you live in concert, until the spring of 2015 on the 'War of Kings Tour', in Niagara Falls, New York. I hope that one day EUROPE could play Quebec City, QC and Montreal, QC, Canada. EUROPE has a lot of Canadian fans and Quebec City is a heavy rock city. Ramstein's only North American concert was held in Quebec City, QC, before a crowd of 110,000 in the Plaines of Abraham, an outdoor venue. Metallica and Scorpions have also played before 90,000 fans. In closing, I just want to thank you, Mr. NORUM, for your beautiful music and guitar solos. You inspired me to learn how to play guitar. Your guitar solo on 'Heart of Stone' is impeccable and so melodic. Wishing you a peaceful Christmas, and a happy and a healthy new year. Sincerely, Frank P.S. Loyal EUROPE and John NORUM fan since January 1987.
