Yes, it’s “Love Is Like Oxygen” by The Sweet, one of my favorite bands from the ’70s. They have so many great songs and one of the most powerful rhythm section in rock. Just listen to the live album (“Strung Up”) and especially “Rock & Roll Disgrace”! And this cool version of “Oxygen” that we recorded is 15 minutes long so “a bit” longer than the original version (lots of solos). And it was arranged and produced by the great Barry Sparks who I had the honor to play with in Dokken (“Long Way Home”). Will keep you updated. /John

Recently I recorded some guitar parts/solos on an old classic tune that includes some fabulous musicians: Barry Sparks Bass (Michael Schenker Group, Dokken), Simon Phillipsย Drums (Toto, MSG), Tony Carey Keyboards (Rainbow) and Gilby Clarke Guitar (Guns n’ Roses). Don’t know who’s going to sing yet but will let you know when the time comes.
